Wall@SAB Solo Exhibition

For this piece, I erected a simple staircase on the front face of the wall in the atrium of the Studio Arts Building. The staircase, when climbed, just barely allows the viewer to peek over the wall to the windows behind. Only 3 feet wide, the staircase allowed for only one user at a time, thus creating a more intimate experience. The piece hopes to bring a bit of whimsy and hope to an object that has been widely discussed and debated  in current politics. The hope is the that the base of the small stair will become a gathering place and a place for discussion while the top of the stair will allow for a more intimate confrontations.
